I love historical romances, especially those set in the Regency period, which is why this site is titled Regency Era.  However, that does not mean I won’t discuss books that fall outside that short time period [1811-1820 (formal regency);  or 1795-1837 (these dates are also used to describe an extended regency period)].  Personally, I use the extended dates when describing the Regency period, even though I know it’s not the “formal” dates.

The authors listed on this site have written some of my favorite regency romances.  Most write stories outside of this period or genre (ie, paranormal), so I may discuss these books even though they aren’t set during this time.  (And yes, there are paranormal regency romances out there.)

On the individual author pages, images of the book covers are first followed by a list of the books.  I’m a visual person and I remember books by the cover, which is why the covers are first and a list is second.  I’ve tried to include as many covers as I could, but I know that there are some missing.  The most current books  are listed first.  If the most current book is part of the series, it will be listed in its proper order.  The authors are broken into 2 sections – current and retired.    Currently, most of the retired are composed of authors that wrote under the Signet or Zebra umbrella.  However, some have died.  Others no longer write under that pseudonym.  But all wrote enjoyable stories.

I’ve tried to make the book lists as inclusive as possible.  I’ll even list an author’s contemporary romances.  As for errors in the book lists,  they are unintentional.  I strive for accuracy, but it’s easy for mistakes to occur.  Let me know if you see anything that needs to be fixed.
