I picked up these titles back in the 1980s because the local bookstore advertised Lauren Giddings as being from the area (I ♥ Kalamazoo!). I enjoyed Bartered Bride and eagerly awaited another book. Alas, it was not to be and she never wrote another regency. However, that’s the beauty of used book stores – they have hidden gems waiting to be discovered.
